Style and hairstyle. One doesn’t exist without the other. Fashion Week is the perfect time to observe capillary trends that gravitate to the entrance of the fashion shows.
FAB has entrusted its eyes to two young graduates of the French Institute of Fashion (IFM): Khuyen Do, a 24-year-old American who loves fashion and beauty, and is about to begin work at Chloé in its press department; and Laureen Gazio, who works as a photographer for Cristina Maag from Front Row blog, on fashion shows and backstage, and will soon begin working at Paris’s Bon Marché in digital communication.
While on the outskirts of London’s Fashion Week, hairstyles were largely nested with colors ranging from flashy green to pastel pink, passing through the unbridled platinum blonde. Paris, with its more conventional reputation, has nothing to envy in London. Shaved heads enhanced, silvered dreadlocks or blonde bobs cleverly defined – here is an overview of the hairstyles shooting around the high places of this Fashion Week SS18 in the French capital.
The Bold & Beautiful
Lizette Pinto spotted before Lutz Huelle’s show. She shaved her head three months ago and she really loves this cut.
The Silver Fow
Naomi Begarin spotted after Rahul Mishra’s show experimenting styles. She defined her own as “original”.
Blonde Bob, Bold Brows
Johanne Aure walking near Colette, the temple of fashion par excellence and high place of many a pilgrimage during Fashion week. With a style that she defined as “simple”, “all (she) told the hairstylist was to keep it as straight as possible.”
“Put A Ringlet On It”
With Shannon Lynch, changing the song lyrics of Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” to “Put a Ringlet on it”, this young woman, who passionately follows Bretman Rock‘s looks, likes to try it out: “Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”
The Pastel Green Craft
It’s temporary coloring but still: Owen Yung-Lee dares to put color on hair and also on eyebrows!
“I love having colored hair – I try to change it once a month – blue, green, red… I can test everything,” explains Kefane (@keykeygram).
