They’re beautiful, they’re inspirational and, above all, they’re sisters!

There are a lot of influencers out there who play upon their family ties to help themselves stand out from the crowd. From the Hadid sisters to the Olsens and Kardashians, celebrity sister duos are everywhere you look. FAB dug a little deeper and spoke to some of the most influential hairdressing sisters.

Freedom, High Standards & Confidence

If celebrity sister duos and trios seem to call the shots these days when it comes to the latest trends, that’s because they rely on the unbreakable bonds of family.

For sisters Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti, the bloggers and influencers behind howtobearedhead.com, working as a team has so many logical benefits because they’ve known each other their whole lives.

“It was totally natural for us to want to work together as sisters, especially since we grew up in a very close Italian family. We are sisters, best friends and natural redheads… It was an easy choice to start How To Be A Redhead together.

On the flip side of this natural closeness, the differences in their personalities enrich their collaborations on a daily basis. “We have very different personalities, but we believe having two different point of views makes us stronger,” Adrienne Vendetti told FAB happily.

This winning combination of complementary personalities and unique tastes helps sisters get the very best out of each other.

The Streicher sisters, for example, knew they’d have to rely on each other’s styling, make-up and eyebrow threading skills when they set up their 3-in-1 salon, Striiike.

Each sister brings the best of her personal influence, ultimately creating a fun and positive dynamic in the salon. There are lots more examples of successful sisters, for example the Norwegian braid queens Mia & Linda, also known as Aurora Braids, the Quann twins who co-created the beauty and culture website Urban Bush Babes, as well as Cindy & Cathy, YouTuber sisters with a French touch at The World of Sisters.

“Working as sisters is something that’s very, very special,” Stephanie Vendetti tells FAB. “Since we’re sisters, we don’t hold anything in when it comes to our opinions, suggestions and ideas. We get everything off our chest – which we think is very healthy. We balance each other out, which is such a great thing when having a business partner.”

It’s this freedom of action and innate complicity that is often accompanied by a mutual focus on being the very best, which drives these sister teams towards success.

Adrienne Vendetti shared another crucial secret behind her and her sister’s work:

“We believe in setting goals and achieving them one-by-one. We are hard on ourselves and each other, which at the end of the day pushes us to work even harder.”

Working & Thriving Together

Setting up a business with your sister seems to be a recipe for success for those who’ve taken up the challenge, and according to Stephanie Vendetti it can also be a great way to get closer to your sister.

“Working together as sisters has made us even closer. Our bond is unbreakable. No matter the highs and lows, we are there for each other to push forward, work hard and succeed each and every day. How To Be A Redhead (HowtobeaRedhead.com) is our life and we couldn’t imagine not doing it together!”

All you need to do is read the declarations of love and support that famous sisters send each other on their social networks, such as Cara Delevingne’s to her sisters Poppy and Chloe, or those from Gigi Hadid to her younger sister Bella, to see that there’s no doubt that sister power is a force to be reckoned with!
